1 to One was set up in 1991 by Frances Riley, who comes from a background of dance and theatre. This expressive and creative foundation stood her in good stead as she began to work in horticulture in 1984,quickly developing a strong passion for garden design and plants.

She qualified in 1991 having studied with John Lucas. For many years she has succeeded in designing and developing gardens to a high standard throughout Surrey and the Home Counties.

Frances has a reputation for offering a quality, friendly, personal service and continues to develop her love of good garden design believing the garden to be an integral part of any home.
